Social content with reach
The aim is to create work that feels recognisably Recharge.com, while still giving each post enough personality to stand on its own. This balance between brand consistency and experimentation has helped the channels develop a stronger visual presence over time.
Several pieces have performed particularly well, with one post reaching over one million views. Since I began working with Recharge.com, the social channels have also seen a considerable increase in followers, building a larger and more engaged audience around the brand.
From moodboard to monthly content
The process starts at the beginning of each month with a creative session together with Recharge.com’s design team. Before this meeting, I prepare a moodboard containing visual references, early concepts and explanations of how each direction could translate into social content.
From there, we select and develop the strongest ideas together. This gives each month a clear creative direction while leaving enough flexibility for new ideas to emerge along the way.
Design, motion and planning
Once the concepts are defined, I develop the visuals and motion pieces and plan them across the duration of the month. Rather than treating each post as an isolated piece, I look at how the content works as a sequence balancing formats, subjects, pacing and visual styles across the feed.
Throughout production, I regularly check in with the other designers for feedback. This keeps the work collaborative and ensures that each piece stays aligned with the wider Recharge.com identity while still allowing room to experiment.
An ongoing visual system
The result is an ongoing social design process rather than a collection of one-off assets. Every month builds on the previous one: testing new visual directions, learning from performance and continually refining how Recharge.com communicates through motion and graphic design across its social channels.
