BERLIN ART INSTITURE
The Berlin Art Institute (BAI) is a mixture of an art studio, courses and lectures.
I was here with other international artists to work on projects. A lot the time I spend here was to experiment and try new things. My time at the BAI made me help find my passion in design.

As an exercise, we had to take something that already exists and make it our own. Since coming to Berlin, I have developed an obsession with two colors: Magenta Deep and Verona Blue. Everything I make is with these colors. What fascinates me about the colors is that you cannot really describe them as either pink and blue or red and green. Everyone describes them differently.
I took multiple images and applied these colors to them and played with composition.

This was inspired by a lecturer who said, “Everything is already made and done”. In all of the work one makes, there are always elements that people before you already made. This made me thing about “special snowflakes”. You are not special; however, you are unique. Greek statues have been used in so many ways they are no longer special, but my composition is unique.

'Visje Visje' is a reference to a dutch children's riddle.
Translated
Little fish, little fish, in the water
Little fish, little fish, in the bowl
Little fish, little fish, can't talk
Little fish, little fish, turn around
The lyrics never actually made sense to me, but the song was stuck in my head, so I decided to make a design about it.
